Anyway, some other ingredients that are needed in the making would include red potatoes which have been scrubbed, clams that are in shell and scrubbed as well. Also, purchase some mussels, shrimp, and chicken broth. Additional flavoring would include butter and a French bread.

To start on the action, go ahead and prepare the pot. Place the red potatoes on the bottom part of the pot and layer it with the clam. Right after that, place the mussels on top and then add the shrimp and finally pour some chicken broth. Make sure to not overdo the chicken broth, base its amount on the size of the pot.

Then, right after that grab a butter and slice it in half to form a cube and place it on top. Cover everything with a lid and wrap it with foil afterwards. Expose it in heat by bringing it on its boiling point. Once done, lower the heat and simmer it for about forty five minutes.

After the given time, get the pot out of the flame and uncover it. Go ahead and remove the clam out of is pot. You can now present it on your plate the way you want to.

For the finishing touches, have a one half cup butter melted. Divide it into four so that everyone can have their own dipping for the dish. Do not forget to serve the French bread along with the butter.

So that is basically how clambake is done. It is easy and not that hard to follow on. Though, do not forget that you can make it extra better by experimenting on possible additional recipe that you desire. Do not be afraid of experimenting to make it taste better than the traditional.
