This method is kind of necessary because it allows the mixture of the cake be little drier than sponge.

This uses baking powder, vegetable oil, eggs with separated whites which has been beaten to a soft peak. This is what makes it batter and it gives you the tender crumb flavor after its done.

As unimaginable as it may seem, there is this cake called baked flourless cake which basically includes cheesecakes and chocolate ones without having to use flour as ingredient. These bunch are often made in a pan with a spring form so that it can be removed out of that way simpler and easier.

To conduct its baking, there needs to be a water involved as it will help in the insulation of a creamy texture. This is to control the heat as well underneath the oven. As a result, the cake would have this silky texture because of how the process was done. Normally they call that as cake in a water bath which is quite cute name.
