Ozone Sanitizer Is The Most Efficient

People have used ozone for various purposes since 1900. In the past it was only used for water treatment such as disinfection of sewage treatment plants, swimming pools, water systems, cooling towers and spas. However as technology as advanced over the years it is now being used for sanitization. Today ozone sanitizer is used in manufacturing processes and industries. It is used in food industries such as sanitization of raw materials, packaging materials, recycled water and irrigation water.

Prior to 1997, it could not be used for purification and sanitization of packed drinking water in many nations including U. S. However as technology has advanced it can now be used for both purposes today. In 1997 May, during an assembly by experts in U. S it was declared a safe for use in food processing. Since that meeting various wineries have embraced component as a safe product. Research of the trend shows that it has been documented and accepted by many to be effective in tank cleaning and sanitation, barrel cleaning and sanitation, general surface sanitation and cleaning place systems.

Increased trend of acceptance and use has been evident in other industries. Some of these industries include: meat processing facilities, produce storage facilities, fresh cut product processing and like stated above it has found its way in beverage industry and bottled water. In most of these industries ozone systems are fixed in place or permanently mounted. This feature makes ozone monitoring and management of all off-gas relatively easy hence ensuring safety.

Industries are keen to ensure that they use the component in a safe manner. The gas systems are fixed temporary in winery industries. These systems are moved from time to time and have a number of operators in different locations. This kind of arrangement helps ensure safety and management is easy. The system is fitted in a manner that it is easy to operate and monitor making it reliable.

New research is made every day. The most recent was a study done in California in a laboratory at Polytechnic State University. The main agenda of the research was to determine the efficiency the gas when used to sanitize the environment. The tests were located in a vegetable and fruit plant. Model surface sanitizer for DEL industries was used as an ozone system

There were several conclusions that were drawn from the results. It was observed that spray wash is the most effective form of application in eliminating microorganisms. The main conclusion was that the gas is effective in environmental sanitization. However the efficiency of the gas depends on the form in which the gas is sprayed.

The gas has the advantage of oxidizing microbes in solution. When a surface is spray-washed the microbes that are removed from the surface get killed as they escape through the drain. When the spray is used daily or continuously the microbes are eliminated completely in every place that is spray-washed.

The component is viewed as the most advantageous product among other chemicals. This is because it does not require special handling, storage or mixing considerations. Some people consider the fact it does not leave behind a sanitizing residue like a disadvantage. It should be noted that if a sanitizing residual is required there are several chemicals that can accomplish that.
