In addition, their products have more vitamins E. The meat from pasture-fed cattle is about four times rich in vitamin E than the corresponding meat from the feedlot cattle. The most interesting part is the fact that the amount of vitamin E content in pasture-fed cattle is almost twice as high as in feedlot cattle with vitamin E supplements. The importance of vitamin E in humans is indispensable; it is associated with lower risk in cancer and heart diseases. It may also have anti-aging benefits.

The nature of pasture-fed farming is healthy to the animals. The technique does not employ chemicals and antibiotics to treat the animal. In addition, the livestock are free from abuse and other stress that are associated with the grain-fed technique. They thus remain free from diseases and grow naturally and healthy.

The firms are also mindful of the environment. With the method, the cattle are well distributed and have no significant impact on the environment. Nevertheless, the commercial farms concentrate the cattle in a small place that requires collecting and transporting the waste for disposal. This ultimately amounts to the pollution of rivers, streams and the ground. The energy, such as diesel and gasoline, used to power the equipment in commercial farms aggravates the pollution.

Simply put, the traditional method of livestock rearing is still the most relevant today. Despite the low rate of growth and the high cost involved, be sure to obtain quality and healthy products.
