Italy is definitely on top when it comes to all the foods they are offering. Aside from the fact that it has a delicious and unforgettable savory flavors, it also is some kind of easy to replicate because its ingredients are usually found easy on supermarkets unlike other dishes. With this characteristic, there is no need to be surprised if other countries have started embracing their styles when it comes to food. Despite how naturally popular pizzas are to people, the changes on its flavors and ingredients has been continuously going on. Of course every management would like to improve and enhance the taste of their dishes to make people have something new to try on. Usually, all they do is just experiment those traditional pizza types and make it even better to compete. Below are some of the traditional pizzas that should never go missing on every menu.

The Neapolitan pizzas are basically the original ones. They are the first ever ones originated way back in the eighteenth century. They were named this way because they apparently are first made in Naples, Italy. This is made up of flatbread that has tomatoes in it, cheese, garlic and oil.

From this humble beginning, several people have tried and attempted to make it even better than it is now with the variations they have invented. Though, even so they ensure that the original sense of which is still there and visible. Although, there is not that much stuff to put on top of it because of how thin its crust is, it probably is going to break into pieces if there are quite too much toppings.

Then there is the deep dish or popularly accepted with the name Chicago pizzas. Its appearance and the way its bake is the mere reason why it is called as deep dish. Normally, topping are found on top of the surface but for this one, it normally is underneath the tomato sauce making it really unique than the rest.

This probably is one of the most unique type of pizza as its toppings are not on top. It is rather placed underneath a layer of tomato sauce making it look somewhat like pie. The main ingredient used to create this are ground beef, pepperoni, sausage and onion, mushrooms and onion.

Last would be the New York style. This pizza is actually is the most popular choice by people in the United States. True enough, this got a similarity with the Neapolitan but it still has its own unique overall identity.

The crust of these pizzas are actually thin but then it has to be a little thicker for it to be fold and sliced by half in a lengthwise manner. Because of that, there has been no need to eat these foods with utensils and just hold it barely on hand. This too even with its thin crust could be able to handle quite more toppings without breaking down.

This style of pizza can quite be served with many types of toppings merely based on how shops has modified it. But, few of the common ones are mushroom, anchovies, sausage and peperoni. It may also have several condiments which are used as topping such as oregano, Parmesan cheese and garlic powder.
