In reality, it is not completely true because during the decaf process all the good antioxidants that are found in the tea are destroyed as well therefore there is nothing good left in it anymore.

Studies suggest that tea contains lesser amount as compared to coffee and when you drink tea the absorption rate is much slower which means the antioxidants are given a chance to make you feel relaxed and calm for a longer period of time. These antioxidants are good for improving the function of your brain and also in bringing down your blood pressure. They are also considered good for your digestive and immune system.

Rather than selecting decaf assortment, the best arrangement is to either drink less quantity of tea or you could discover a mix that is free of caffeine. There are a few brands that have presented tea blends that do contain this ingredient however their mix comprises of other agents that are good for your health. Therefore even if you consume them, they will benefit you in a positive way.

You may opt for much healthier choices like green tea or white tea. Green tea is rich in antioxidants where as white tea also contains less quantity of this harmful ingredient. It is not a wise decision to pay higher price and buy a tea blend that says is is decaf but actually it contains caffeine and is regarded as more harmful if you consume it on a regular basis. You should prioritize your health and well being, and anything that causes or becomes a cause of harm should be eliminated from your diet plan no matter how addicted you are to it.
