Olden Accounts And Facts About Bread

By John Brooks

The most important basic need of man is food. Without this, a human being will not survive. Early civilization relied on fruits and vegetation as well as meat from animals. The discovery of cultivation and agriculture led to the planting of cereals which eventually became the main source of one of the most favorite nourishment that man has gotten used to. The process of making bread has been passed on from generation to generation and this can still be experienced with bakery Flagstaff.

Going back to the earlier days, humans roamed around the earth and found nourishment in fruits and berries found in the natural world. The meat was available as human became hunters and gatherers. The discovery of agriculture led to the cultivation of cereal crops that became the main source of making one, the skill in making this is the same today as it was in the past.

People learned to know how to discriminate tastes and satisfy the wants of their belly. This would not have been possible without the discovery of agriculture. Because of agriculture man learned how to bake one. The cultivation of land was one of the major breakthroughs in agricultural technology. This was further enhanced and developed when man learned how to tame fire.

Flour which is the main ingredient of bread is a product of cereal being grounded into fine form. Early civilization made this possible with the mortar and pestle which pounded the grains into powder form. This was further improved with the taming of beasts of burden which was harnessed to drag grinding stones which resulted in increasing the production of flour.

One groundbreaking innovation that happened ages ago was the creation of windmill. Windmill offered great help during those days. It utilized the control power for grinding stones to turn. It is where particles were crushed into fine powder. This became a starting line to produce a massive amount of fine grind.

Tools have appropriate uses. The process of making this kind of product is the effect of modifications in technology. After a very long time, the changes of it assist the making of buns and loaves and getting a suitable and effective way of baking. Today, it is the result of changes in the functions of technology.

Equipment used in baking such as oven was only improvised in early days. Firewood was used to produce heat enough for the bread to be baked. There was no proper heat regulator since it only depended on the amount of heat released from flaming firewood. Unlike the modern times, high tech tools are controllable. The thought of modern technology made man truly resourceful.

Each person has his own delectable taste about something that is orally ingested like food. Looking at history, the main staple of great civilization relied on it for the subsistence of population. This is so true even in modern time as most cultures in different areas of the world still rely on bread. This particular item by itself contributes much to the food and beverage industry.

So long as people live on this planet, the need for food is ever present. Individual cultures, traditions, and beliefs have all embrace it as the main staple. Civilizations rose and fell because of this commodity. Nowadays unscrupulous persons in connivance with big agricultural industries have resulted in hoarding of this commodity which drives up the price. But there is no need to worry since big government is always on the lookout for food resource.
