Making An Ice Cream Sundae Bar

It is actually so easy to make an ice cream sundae bar at home that one does not even need to go to the store and buy the commercial ones. The best part is that if one does it at home, then he can monitor all of the ingredients that are used and he can try out new flavors. So if one would want to try making a homemade sundae bar, then just follow these very simple steps.

To start off, one just has to run down to the store and get himself some normal ice cream with a plain flavor like vanilla. When he gets home, he now has to put that vanilla ice cream into a bowl and take out the electric mixer. From there, mix the dessert until it becomes extremely soft and a little melted.

So after making the cream soft, then the next thing to do would be to buy paper cups and put the dessert into the these cups. Once the cups are already filled, then one should now grab a roll of plastic wrap, wrap it around the cup, and then seal it with a rubber band. When that is done, take a small popsicle stick and stick it into the cup.

Now it is very important to make sure that the popsicle is stuck at least one inch inside of the cup so that the popsicle will keep the dessert steady. Afterwards, put the cups into the freezer and let it freeze for around twenty four hours. The next day, one can already take it out and serve it to those dessert lovers.

Now if one would like to, he may even add some coating on it so that it would taste much nicer. One of the best coatings that would go with almost all flavors would be a chocolate coating. So to do this, one has to melt some chocolate bars and make sure that they are already really stick so that they can be embedded into the sundae bar.

Now when the chocolate has already been dealt with, then one can now take the first cup out of the freezer. Take away all of the plastic wrappings, the rubber bands, and the eventually the cup. From there, place the cookie sheet directly on the finished product so that the chocolate paste will stick to it and not come out.

When that is over and done, place it in the freezer just like before and this time leave it there for twenty to thirty minutes. Now one will only take it out once the dessert is already hard enough so that it can be eaten. If it does not feel frozen enough, then it needs to stay there a bit longer.
